Since it is impractical to have separate transactions with identical txids, this does not impose a burden on honest software, but must be checked if the invalid status of a block is to be cached; otherwise, a valid block with the duplicates eliminated could have the same merkle root and block hash, but be rejected by the cached invalid outcome, resulting in security bugs such as CVE-2012-2459.

/pgdata as shown in the .env above) I'd appreciate any guidance on how to properly change these settings or if there are other files/locations where database connection settings might be cached or hardcoded. 2 comments r/selfhosted • u/Ikuta_343 • 3h ago Release Building Simply Tweeted, a Self-Hosted Tweet Scheduler 1 Upvotes Hey everyone, Two weeks ago I gave myself the challenge to build a self-hostable Tweet Scheduler as fast as I could.
I've written over my laptops harddrive with zeros multiple times a day despite having done nothing with it out of some anxiety about corruption or the possibility of restoring some cached files I didn't know were there. I'm afraid I can't help with the tech issue in particular because its likely the exact same thing I would have an issue with in that context.
If not specified, monerod will use hardcoded seed nodes on the first run, and peers cached on disk on subsequent runs. --add-peer Manually add node to local peer list, host:port . Syntax supports IP addresses, domain names, onion and i2p hosts.
If the server fails to successfully associate within 30 seconds, the session will be terminated Seq starts from 0, and the body of the previous POST must be sent (but there is no need to wait for the response) before sending the next one There is a small probability that multiple POSTs will arrive at the server out of order, and the server will reassemble them according to seq. By default, a maximum of 30 POSTs are cached, and the connection will be disconnected if the limit is exceeded...
This may help prevent border agents from reviewing browser and app information that may be cached in your device. You could also temporarily uninstall mobile apps, and clear browser history, so that it is not immediately apparent which online services you use. 12 Note that while certain messaging apps provide end-to-end encryption, if a border agent has access to your app, they will be able to see your cached messages in plain text within the app itself .
A probably very naive solution to that I came up with and experimented with is keeping track of all things that go into a page, and tag the cache of it with them, so I could invalidate all cached items that refer to a thing that was just changed (where that thing can be anything, a tag, the site title, whatever), but I ended up scrapping in favor of caching everything for 1 hour no questions asked, because it was just total overkill for my use case. klaussilveira 2y How is it not user...

If you only have enough ram for the bot to handle roomba style navigation and a cached library of pre-recorded responses you have to work within those confines. If you have sophisticated enough CPU and enough RAM for a bot to put away dishes and operate a 3-D printer to make replacement parts for itself, running a rudimentary LLM that also doubles as a prompt processor for tasks within their environment would be a cakewalk (conceivably).
